1.Brief introduction of technical characteristics of decimeter wave TV slot antenna
With the development of radio and television industry, the available space position on the transmission tower is limited. 2.The decimeter wave slot antenna produced by Zhongru Technology has the following characteristics:
(1)The antenna can be made of four layers, six layers and eight layers, which can be flexibly assembled to facilitate the adjustment of antenna gain;
(2)High-quality H62 brass waveguide, H62 brass inner conductor and silver plating treatment of inner conductor H62 brass rod greatly improve the conductivity of antenna system;
(3)All antenna connections are welded by silver welding, which ensures the stability of antenna connecting parts and improves the transportation reliability of the equipment.
(4)The antenna vibrator is made of brass, and the surface is nickel plated, which improves the corrosion resistance of the antenna and improves the service life of the antenna.

The antenna bandwidth can meet the requirements of multi-channel shared antenna within 100MHz.


3.Design principle of slot antenna
An antenna formed by a slot on the conductor surface is also called a slot antenna. The typical gap shape is a long strip with a length of about half a wavelength. The slot can be fed by the transmission line across its narrow edge, or by the waveguide or resonant cavity. At this time, RF electromagnetic fields are excited on the gap and radiate electromagnetic waves into space.
The gap on the infinite and infinite thin ideal conductive plane is called the ideal gap. The electric field on the ideal gap is perpendicular to the long side of the gap, and its amplitude decreases to zero at both ends of the gap. This electric field distribution is exactly the same as the magnetic field distribution (i.e. current distribution) on a conductor oscillator (called a complementary oscillator) with the same size.
According to the duality of the electromagnetic field, the electromagnetic field radiated by the ideal slot and the electromagnetic field generated by the complementary oscillator have the same structure, but the electric field vector of the oscillator corresponds to the magnetic field vector of the slot, and the magnetic field vector of the oscillator corresponds to the electric field vector of the slot.
Therefore, the orientation of the gap in the yz plane is 8-shaped, while the orientation in the xy plane is circular. The product of the input impedance of the ideal slot and the input impedance of the complementary oscillator is z0/4, and z0 is the wave impedance of the surrounding medium. For the actual gap on the plane or surface of a finite conductor, as long as the size of the conductor surface is much larger than that of the wave, especially the size of the narrow side of the gap is larger and the curvature is smaller, its basic characteristics will be similar to the ideal gap.
All indicators of the antenna system comply with the standards of GY/T 5088-2013 Technical Indicators and Measurement Methods for Transmission Antenna Feeder System of TV and FM Broadcasting.

Installation instructions:
1.Slot antenna is a single feed input mode. When connecting, it is only necessary to tightly connect the main feed pipe connector and antenna connector with screws. Note: The connection of the built-in insert must be fastened, and the waterproof ring must be placed in the card slot.
2.The antenna must be installed perpendicular to the ground.
3.The antenna can be installed perpendicular to the top of the tower mast, the side of the mast, the platform or the tower body of the tower.
4.When the antenna is installed on the side of the tower body, the antenna transmitting station shall be more than 1 meter away from the reflection surface of the tower body. When the antenna is installed on the top of the tower body, it can be directly fixed with fasteners. The fasteners must be considered to facilitate the connection of the main feeder.
5.After the main feed pipe is connected with the antenna, the outer surface must be sealed with waterproof silicone. If conditions permit, it is better to seal with heat-shrinkable pipe. To prevent water ingress.
6.The antenna fixing screw hole is connected with the fixing fastener of the tower body. When fixing, make sure that the connectors are firm and safe. Fixing fasteners need to be customized with the size of the tower body. It is better to hot-dip galvanized or electro-galvanized where conditions permit.
